A widely respected police officer on the island of Curacao falls from grace when he gets caught being drunk and butt naked in a brothel. In the short time following he loses everything. He moves to De Engelenbron, an old mansion in the ghetto of Willemstad and tries to win back all that he has lost. From the subdivisions of society, surrounded by drugs, crimes and prostitutes he tries to find a way to redemption and salvation.
