Provider Films was founded by long-time friends and classmates, director-writer German Gruber jr. and cinematographer Ewoud Bon. We bring stories and performances from the Caribbean to the screens of a wide, international audience. We are driven by a strong belief in the international appeal of the island's rich culture. We work on both shorts and features.

Working from within the relatively young film industry on Curaçao, Provider Films benefits from a hands-on mentality, with producing, writing, directing and shooting all handled within one team.

After the award-winning short THE LEGEND OF BUCHI FIL,  Provider Films created the low-budget feature SENSEI REDENSHON which found commercial success in the Caribbean and was the first Papiamentu-language film to screen in Pathé Cinemas in the Netherlands.
